MTEN operates as a key convener to link and promote science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) educational programming in Delaware County

Led by Purdue Polytechnic Anderson and the Future of Work Muncie, MTEN collaborates with local businesses, K-12 schools, higher education and community organizations to;

Strengthen a cohesive linkage among all stakeholders along the “STEM Education to Workforce Pipeline” to improve the vitality and sustainability of the local workforce

Promote and energize regional STEM programming that establishes the skills necessary for a competitive and innovative future economic base

Create new programming to prepare and inspire students for STEM-focused careers and college readiness

Eci vex robotics league

Working with schools and non-profit partners, the VEX robotics league will provide the opportunity for students to build STEM skills through hands-on learning in the classroom and beyond. In the VEX Robotics Competition, teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams in a game-based engineering challenge.
